The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 飙车戏太刺激了，那个撩妹的警察我愿称之为“最倒霉警察”，没有之一。结局我竟然猜到了，这算是最合理最能接受的结局了。警察还是一贯的无能。
好多逻辑硬伤，结局救人质杀大佬也是醉了，尼是真的正确。
很一般的爆米花电影，最后的结局也比较吐槽，肯定不会看第二遍了。

普普通通的院线电影，一开始直入主题，镜头晃来晃去的，还有无人机视角，搞的导演嗑high了一样，追逐战时的碰撞“爆炸”一度让我以为不会有真爆炸了，后面果然没让我失望
迈克尔·贝发现了无人机摄影，从此以后世界便是另一番模样。扎扎实实的bayhem，从疯狂的动作戏到土掉渣的煽情段落，爆炸贝彻底回归自我，期待他接下来的作品。
一通乱糟糟又吵闹的你追我赶。急救警察那块院线版删减痕迹也太重了吧，真无语。无人机视角看着挺爽。瞪眼又跳脚的杰克吉伦哈尔有种独特的萌感真是笑死人了，好喜欢老吉哦有他看就够了。冈萨雷斯性感美丽如旧。
影院开放后的第一场电影，反正冲着爆米花去的，就不细究逻辑了。
合格爆米花，视觉特效享受，但是剧情真的不是很硬

《亡命救护车》和《变形金刚》的区别就在于后者变形金刚戏份不多，这里完全没有。这里脏话居多，后者则没有。共同点是：不停的话唠和动作戏，最后收尾，严重怀疑爆炸贝有创作模板。
抛开政治正确，这么一个看似老套的故事没想到能拍的这么精彩，爆炸贝还是有点东西的。煽情的桥段居然看出点日剧味……另外还是心疼下吉伦哈尔
冗长拖沓，高潮太长视觉疲劳，剧本上更是漏洞频出。
脑仁疼，完全是变形金刚的套路，镜头晃的很业余，女主像极了梅根福克斯。
