The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 随了剧情推进，形式感被逐渐消解，代入感却越发真实。文青的结局似乎从来都是注定，在任何国家，在任意年代。“我应该去当教师，只有孩子适合拥有理想”。

我为这样的角色感到想要忏悔，感到心痛，感到无奈，感到应该这样。感到，这才是对的，应该对抗这个时代的路。虽然知道会毁灭。但或许这是对的。
四颗星都给汤姆·希林，太棒了！影片各种炫技，声色犬马的柏林，支离破碎的柏林，山雨欲来风满楼的柏林，一个史学博士在时代潮流中风雨飘摇。片子太长，裸体太多，还有，读博士和博士后啥的是会被同门害的，毕不了业的......
矛盾孕育悲剧，悲剧催生故事。
时代来了就是来了，我们谈不了理想，也进不去广场。
法比安纯粹又迷茫，是疯狂时代里我们每一个人。镜头太棒，三个小时一点都不觉得冗长。片后连线汤姆希林，他说拍摄时期的他处于迷茫状态，恰好和片中男主状态有重合，于是能更好演绎。
任何动荡的年代都有怀才不遇的人 人生就是存在着很多的不确定 明天和意外哪个先来谁也不知道 我们现在这么小心的生活着又和那个动荡的年代有什么区别 稳定的工作带来了稳定的收入 而处处小心到处限制又怎么让我们去享受这收入呢？
