The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 看过现场，重看官摄还是很激动。记忆全部都回来了。有几个演员是发福了啊😂
泪目了好多次，到最后消防员母亲得知噩耗的时候终于绷不住了，曲风虽然不是我喜欢的，但是从纽芬兰岛这个角度看911的取材非常特别且意义非凡
每个个体的困境依旧，但对痛苦的共同感知造就了鲜活的、善良的、沟通着的世界。

人性的光辉时刻。特别在今年奥斯卡这么烂的情况下，期待一下托尼。不过911和双伊、伊拉克战争其实是有因果的。
