The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 天啊 浅薄的我完全没看懂这部电影。。。。。。。
又是一部风格盖过内容表达的作品。非常喜欢这位导演此前的《鬼魅浮生》，所以在将近结尾部分看到如出一辙的手法相当兴奋。对骑士精神的古典解读，也融入现代人的思维表达。表面上是拒绝类型化的寓言故事，但实则又无处不在套用冒险题材的悬疑惊悚情节，使叙事在古典与现代感之间摇摆不定，甚至有失衡偏差的惊险时刻。
色彩营造气氛，尾声有黄粱一梦的感觉。传奇？神话？幻觉？谎言？整体过于晦涩而有故作高深之嫌。
#柏林影展 #EFM 本屆柏林影展少數打起精神觀賞的主競賽片。透過舊資料畫面搭配黑白攝影，甫一開始令我想起柏格曼與費里尼。一趟骨灰之旅，彷彿一位影人之死；尾段的歡快與全彩，慢慢將故事帶往另一趟未知的旅程。當他在墓地前刻下了名字；當他老邁地坐在墓前，四季交替，人生宛若一場即將告別的演出。
The first part in B/W could be seen as a journey to bid his brother a moving adieu by transporting the ashes of Pirandello, whose works have been adapted by the brothers, to his Sicilian homeland. Whereas the second part in color is quite confusing for us who have never read the story before. The shift from grey to color is poetic though

中规中矩的儿童读物改编剧，属于不踩雷但没亮点的作品
弟弟与哥哥漫长的告别，第三幕笔锋一转，以对未尽之作毫不完善的演绎总结这一波三折的"魂归故里"，在粗糙的背景板下略过了人生的跨度，乡愁中更增添了许多遗憾。
恐惧和胆怯是人之常情，但拒绝虚无，坦然面对，迎接解脱，也许这正是骑士精神的意义所在。
还挺吃导演这一套，算是这种题材里比较看得下去的片儿了

3.0 攝影很美，但故事說得太慢了，且慢的沒什麼道理。自進了綠教堂之後開始走馬燈式的人生前瞻這段拍得還挺好。
邪魅史诗，精美绝伦的画面，一头雾水的故事。
美术就值4星了。画面，配色，构图，真的好。
意大利电影的诙谐与宏大告诉混乱的柏林这才是cinema，大师就是大师，老人与孩童一体。
