The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 好可惜是一个人看的
节奏有点奇怪，全局把控得不太好。但我还是好喜欢这一家人！

结尾收得很好很巧妙，对电影整体的观感直线提升。
剧本太一般了，典型的老套路，毫无新意和亚当斯特点，但是配乐太赞了……

动画片的续集版，还行吧，总觉得没有以前电视版的看的有感觉，不过既然有人关注改编那么肯定会有更好的作品出现的。
用了闲鱼以后，感觉逐渐变得斤斤计较和有点贪小便宜，看了这部片的前半段有那么一点感触，几个角色都不讨喜，惊觉有点像自己。岂料后半段风云突变，导演为了突出一个脱胎换骨的独立励志女性，不惜安排一个不那么爱他但很无辜的老公；以及一段违法犯罪事迹顺带一个形象非常负面的执法者。克里斯丁贝尔的的确确是犯下了滔天罪行，但不知何故，整部影片的最后氛围非常奇怪，轻快的背景音乐和明亮的色调，剧情上不仅轻判，女主还像是没事儿一样寻求假释，最后还顺利离婚，赚了大钱，异国东山再起，成为了一种独立女性的榜样。拜托你是诈骗了几千万哎，老公很无辜好吗？不要把自己打造成一个没人爱的角色，这不都是自己作的吗？美国的法律就这么儿戏吗？这种奇怪的价值观到底是哪儿来的？更不用说电影里没事黑两把中国，完全没有必要。笑点低级，不值一看。
非常过瘾 韩国电影除了色调一秒拉观众入戏外 对节奏把控的太得心应手咯 和原版框架差不多 更亮眼的地方在几段追逐戏 虽然对剧情作用不大 也足够突出黄影帝的演技了 对于我这个黄政民的影迷来说 实在是爽 他的主角戏完全就是superhero的程度

续集是公路片，一家人开车环游美国，犹如美国旅游宣传片，美国著名景点一览无余，不过如此走遍美国的剧情设计和剧情实质关联不大，不走景点同样可以完成剧情，走马观花式的走景点似乎有拼凑片长之嫌。
一分给黄政民的演技一分给里面致敬了几个新世界的梗 我觉得韩国和中国真别互相翻拍了都水土不服的拉跨
一开始没注意片头，觉得这也太扯了……直到标记的时候发现根据真实事件改编，这也太……
跟原版的解救吾先生没法比 翻拍跟闹着玩似的 绑匪看上去都特傻 还有一个特疯哪里是为了钱 男主黄政民还不错
这跟黄政民有什么关系，你换个李政民也没问题，还不如同类型的电影好看，就是挂了个黄政民的噱头。这个反派头子好像nuguri笑死我了，演得好尼玛欠打，你装你妈呢！看到了仁显的汉东，鱿鱼的智英，还有我们身材爆好的小率。几个反派都太脸谱化了，毫无看头。警察一如既往的蠢猪，韩影到底跟警察行业有什么仇怨，塑造的形象总是这么弱智。
看不懂的价值观。已经跟不上美丽国的的思维。伪造和使用，贩卖非法的coupon还被粉刷成正义，劫富济贫。跟现在明强熊国的海外财产有什么分别自己偷懒不找工作，天天想薅羊毛，满脸肉毒杆菌。
整体
残暴有余，故事不足！为了票房加了太多的打斗，反而让剧情显得平淡，为了钱绑票的目的不是太突出，而凸显绑匪的凶残最后居然要带着警察一块去死就太过于生硬，主角光环也实在是太耀眼。总之假期无聊还是可以用来杀杀时间。
