剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     比起看音乐剧是压抑不住哭出声的感动，电影版少了一些东西，又在别的地方给了我一些新的东西。对于这个故事我还是更喜欢音乐剧形式。ps音乐真的太好听了。

    better than I thought 不是很懂音乐剧和改编音乐剧etc 但是感觉Evan的歌声一直到speech那里才变得diegetic 这个设计感觉挺妙的 但总的来说欣赏不太来建立在谎言上的故事 而且Connor的可怜之处交代的不是很清楚 不清楚为什么一直到最后Evan都是阴阳脸打光 the ending is not bad tho

    昨晚在飞机上看了。主题音乐在疫情前通勤路上的广播里听过很多遍，一直没有机会去百老汇看。我知道我会喜欢的。男主年龄偏大是有些出戏，但是青少年自杀，心理健康这个主题是实在是太能打动我了。需要帮助不是一件羞耻的事情。如果身边有人深陷泥潭，也请不要吝啬伸出那只手。

    循环主题曲108遍之后才知道原来是这个剧情…有感动到但不妨碍我觉得不太喜欢，我人格里的一部分天生就恐惧这种建立在谎言上的空中楼阁。

    有几首很喜欢的歌被删了，有点遗憾但也能理解。第三幕康纳的那首新歌加得很棒，没有试图解释太多或想让人一下就理解他，但提供了一个能窥见康纳另一面的机会。这既给了康纳家人和埃文些许安慰，也给了观众一个情绪出口。

    Every time Amy Adams showed up with her sad tearful smile, I became a crying mess on automatic. I don’t blame Evan for going along with the lie. Also, I can’t recall crying as hard as near the end of the “so big/so small” song (oh wait I do recall, last time it was when I was watching that lesbian movie about painting a girl on fire)
