The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 铺垫太久又毫无用处，眼睛超能力和跑步摔跤对于最后的不老没有太大关联……感情戏太跳脱，完全感受不到深情的信服感，男女主之间实在是没有火花……

王传君是个好演员，王珞丹就算了。把对生死的思考一股脑地化作旁白表述出来，搞得电影像旁白配画面。旁白写得很好，画面也很好，后段回国了没旁白的部分也很好，但是凑成的电影实在不咋样。小孩部分像年代戏，青少年部分像青春戏，国外部分像科幻惊悚片，回国后部分拍出点贾樟柯的味道。拍得很用心，但不是部好电影。
前半段挺好的，后面情节就比较奇幻了！
关于离别、生死和爱，1h09m画幅的渐变是分界线，也预示着郭小鲁和苏凌芳关系的转变，窄画幅是《阿甘正传》中Forrest和Jenny，宽画幅是《本杰明·巴顿奇事》中的Benjamin和Daisy。
砂糖又贡献了诸多高光演技时刻，当你身在社会基层工作时，就能感受到这部电影中那些绝望的时刻，有多么真实。

剧情改动还是まあ～电影比起小说更侧重了情感线弱化了案件侦查啊。天灾不可怕，人祸才最恐怖。反观现在反复的疫情，一时间真是不知道该去恨谁了（最后没有等到砂糖的女装，我爱阿部宽！( ̀⌄ ́)
