The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 想到了天鹅绒圆锯。关于black community，影片采用了几个有意思的意向去表达，从大都市开往旧时贫民窟的晚班列车，集聚的蜂巢..从Jordan Peele开始，关于黑人群体的自我认知的影片这几年层出不穷，但其实没有几部表达出了那种认同感，反而在熟悉的近景大都市描绘里变得疏离
都2022年了，為什麼還有人要講先婚後愛，為什麼還有人要看先婚後愛？如果郭敬明翻拍《諾丁山》的話，差不多就是這樣，看不見愛情，只有霸總與傻白甜性轉標籤，繼續著愛情片套路，再填塞換裝秀和Drama，可惜，又不夠美娛圈真實的Drama那麼刺激。
导演夹带私货，而且剧情也不是很出彩，就这样吧
延续了92年糖果人的故事，扩展了糖果人宇宙，这部聚焦于在现代复活糖果人。利用皮影戏回顾故事，以及艺术馆的行为艺术招来真的怨灵还是挺有意思的设计。
