The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 司機角色完全莫名其妙，隨意反轉沒啥説服力。
沃茨真的老了，毕竟54了，完全没有了《金刚》的美艳感觉，也没有了《海啸奇迹》的美丽妈妈形象，看着脸上松弛的皮肤，感到了岁月的无情。其实这种片子和《丛林》类似，小群体的孤独冒险。影片节奏挺慢，剧情有点枯燥和平淡，感情处理的挺细腻，但属实说不上好看，何况救的还是个神经病，一会哭一会闹，一会求生一会自杀，跑到停车场后立刻自己开车跑了，事后又找人感谢。两人一聊天，男的失去了女朋友，女主因为煤气泄漏失去两个女儿，都是通过爬山来释放自己，调整心理。影片的无限风暴实际是指失去亲人和爱人的心痛永远无法忘记，跟救人时的风雪无关。我给3星6.6分，删掉了！
相比此片的质量，更让人唏嘘的是 十几年前，莉顿和布蕾克 都是大热美剧 绯闻女孩的大女主，很多人通过此剧第一次了解了上东区的生活，多年过后，布蕾克 混的风生水起，还嫁给了死侍 ，反观 莉顿，混迹在二流影视圈，似乎已无翻身之日
无聊的剧情，反转的丝毫不带感，节奏也是奇奇怪怪，角色塑造莫名其妙，反派们也是毫无存在感，失败。
剧情太老土太格式化了 克罗地亚看得想出去玩
剧情精彩程度达到了小学生作文的程度，语文老师是可以打满分的。
这样的剧本我都写得出来…这样的悬疑片让观众毫无参与感。
说实话、导演拍的镜头画面还挺有美感的、但我真的不知道看了个什么、感觉看完跟没看没区别、
太厉害了，一个女的暴风雪中救了一个男 的，那个男的也更厉害，身体杠杠的，比我可能就已经冻到不行了。
queenB是哪里想不开接一个这么掉智商的片子？克罗地亚警察是猪吗？杀人案都不会第一时间找监控的？
主角最后因为be needed，be wanted而获救了，而我还陷在她的情绪里
挺好的，身为一个救援队员，她出色的完成了救援工作！身为一个人，绝对算数英雄！自己活下去都是未知的情况下，还有勇气救个傻子，绝对是英雄级别的。
看得我骂娘。但娜奥米·沃茨的表演还是挺到位的。

是一个概念式的电影。富二代的刻板印象只是转变为了温馨家庭的刻板印象，看在是喜剧的份上就原谅了。彩蛋好笑。
这电影最大问题就是三个富二代的改变缺乏说服力人哪有那么改变

6分。悬疑味还行，但几次反转有些牵强。男主直到最后一刻还在满嘴谎言真是够了。看到梅斯特昔日女神现在一副大妈脸和身材不禁唏嘘呀！
一个独自营救的故事，印象深刻的是1.冷，2.一个经历冻、摔、淹依旧大难不死的男主
