The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 视觉冲击力极强，风格偏向于渲染强烈情绪的表现主义，满眼尽是不堪入目的恐怖之物
没有一句台词，层出不穷的怪物，充斥着黑暗血腥场面，奈何我就是不太感冒。
从硬件说，这已经不是电影了，是被拍下来的行为艺术。从软件说，片子拥有不低的立意，大概讲了三件事，一是地狱发生自人的恨意，在地狱的系统里生命的一切活动将只化作对彼此施加的痛苦；二是地狱的发生是必然的结果；三是轮回不止。整体是了不起的东西，硬说缺点的话，一是血腥程度还是会产生观影障碍，二是结论太绝望，没有涉及出离的解脱。
用定格动画的形式制作的长篇恐怖片，工作量巨大，因此非常罕见。巴别塔，黑石碑，电击，吞粪，畸形人，剥皮表演，活体解剖，婴儿献祭，宇宙大爆炸，典型的欧美人爱的猎奇血浆片，脓和屎尿很足。观看过程是彻头彻尾的噩梦。

预告挺惊艳，正片挺失望的，感觉导演没有在好好讲故事，想靠装逼猎奇来吸引观众但那特效和画面还不够装逼

叹为观止！胃液疯狂翻滚上涌。各种器官内脏骨头解构与工业体系结合 湿漉漉黏糊糊散发光泽的一滩滩液体，低沉 尖锐的嘶鸣，抽搐的行走，回流的钟表，延迟的痛苦。这里是地狱，是看不到尽头的噩梦。
