The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 充满装腔作势的台词和戏码，三十分钟后就继续不下去了
有种90年代剧情片的感觉，两个男主选的都不错，特别是伊萨克，造型非常有张力。罪与罚，是与非，在人间的审判之上的是“上帝”的审判。
赌场为障眼法，重要的是对两座监狱截然不同的描绘方式，创伤由此展示切口。片尾反在空间隔阂中，用指尖的相连扣了题，精彩。奥斯卡·伊萨克分外迷人。
德扑只是一个噱头，一个包装罢了。本来就缺少必要的戏剧冲突，再不包装一下，岂不是半个小时就讲完了？

施拉德的片子总有一种殉道者的隐郁感弥漫其中，男主执拗又背负着沉痛过往，在自赎的道路上踽踽独行，本片完成度低于《第一归正会》
和赌博的联系恰到好处 没有堆满也没有架空 但是整体还是有点点催眠了
像《出租车司机》一个社会边缘愤怒而忧伤的人，又像《海边的曼彻斯特》一个困在悲惨回忆中的人。有胡子的奥斯卡和没胡子的奥斯卡完全是两个人。
讲自我救赎的公路片，男主角的人设细节设计的很好，剧情拍的太平淡了，观感有点闷
沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful
能理解导演想表达的意思，许多镜头设计也很好，看了许多评论，确实导演反类型，反高潮的风格，不是我的菜。
男主演技相当不错，几乎一个人完成了一部电影，还能不分神的看完。只是以我的肤浅认识还是以失败而告终，不免充满遗憾。
