The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 對經歷過的人確實共情，就這份共情已經夠5星了！不是嗎？

从电影艺术的角度来说，没有什么好说的，很糟糕的体验，滤镜过重导致失真的日系柔光，没有突出的叙事手段，情感激烈冲突的部分也拍得尴尬。故事本身还是有被触动到，虽然很狗血且不太合情理，但真的让我想起了初中时代的朦胧感情。可惜如今已是陌路人了，哎。
故事很简单，画面也并不突出。让人觉得不舒服的还是结局，到底是什么心态能写出这种结局啊……
节奏，演技，剧情都不太合常理。女主像杨恭如和李宇春的结合体。20220307

當然其實大家都想把自己的故事拍出來所以還是respect
如果导演想探讨的是，两个人有共同的经历，是不是就代表有一样的回忆
作为HK来说，这部片子被同类型掩盖了光彩。作为同性爱来说，有点点留痕。只是还是有太多的照搬。
电影院出来眼睛哭肿LOL 就是明知道情景有点俗套但还是很好哭的那种，可能太明白只有你还困在回忆里出不来而别人早已move on那种感觉

新人导演鼓励性加一颗星，同意某个影评的"审美太差了"，如果是亲身经历改编，故事还这么破碎，真的很怀疑导演能不能拍好一个片子了，虽然视角是女一，故事也缺乏太多的细节，转折生硬，角色没有成长。
比网剧还mv 对lgbt片子一直很宽容但这部不值得

笑死，她们两个的关系被校长发现后叫家长，两方父亲居然都说:女孩子和女孩子亲近没问题，我自己也喜欢女人啊？？？男人喜欢女人不是天经地义么，这能一样么？脑子呢
反而是蓝这个角色，更讨喜，从最初到最后。
