The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 整体来说还可以，能看的。
想看很久了是因为我初中也写过有关月球坠落的小小说。。。电影总的来说还是那一套，命题模板作文实在没什么意思，换一百个设定能套壳写出一百部类似的，而且人类起源那点简直鬼扯到不可思议，外星人祖先也就算了还黑一把AI我真服了。唯一出彩的是特效，海啸上天和月球内部的CG制作年度奇观，不过快进看完也就只能记住这些了
地球部分的故事挺无聊的，戴森球部分多拍拍就好了，现在这个比重是为了省成本吗。
节奏太快，设定奇幻，逻辑不科学。就像知道那个中国女的是黑人女的现任么？
可以说每个剧情点都蠢到极点，无法想象编剧是在什么状态下写的这个本子
这部电影就是一部爽片，职场线爽，感情线也爽，真的很适合一个人边看边笑，很能缓解压力，值得一个四星。
太乱了，东一榔头西一棒子，没有笑点也没有哭点，完全代入不进去，有些概念和画面总觉得有星际穿越的影子，比如叛逆儿子不跟上天老爸好好告别，比如海水掀起巨浪的仰视镜头等等，音乐还算好，但是整体观感还是10分只能打3分（于文文这资源可以啊，分到这么多台词，牛逼）
整挺好，但是就是没办法给四颗星，怎么回事儿呢，委屈。🥺
整体是老旧俗气的灾难片，艾默里奇还是那陈旧的几板斧，但我并不觉得此片一无是处，后半段开始有点b级片的神棍感觉，甚至有几段不合常规的视角和视效呈现还蛮有意思的，当成一个消耗时间的高投资b级片看还是能收获快乐的，尤其是在这个影院苟延残喘的时期，需要一些电影来强调影院存在的必要，哪怕是俗套老气恶趣味的。
电影真的非常好看，超出预期地好看。细节转折很多，所有角色都很讨喜，节奏也不错，画面干净漂亮，笑点密集轻松搞笑，底色也表现的很好，尤其结局，没有糊弄观众。
被评分骗了，不比“后天”差，在手机上看的，电影全场无尿点，这样的爆米花爽片就应该去电影院看。豆瓣已经被那些伪文青完全占领了。评分低的主演原因是不够科学。这不是科普片，这也不是诺兰导演、不是圣丹斯、不是星际穿越，不是硬科幻、没请天体学专家指导剧本。电影情节流畅，双线叙事、紧张刺激、全家欢、值回票价就完了，科普就就交给书本就行了，对一部科幻片吹毛求疵，有完没完！
很好看，字面意义上的好看。很多年没在大银幕上感受这种简单纯粹的好看了，把人物的戏都剪下去可以在自然博物馆放的感觉。为了把大家想看的拍出来，剧情就不讲道理了，简单粗暴的把我们要看的攒出来一股脑儿一放，透着财大气粗！过瘾！

从电影院出来的时候，看到了艾福杰尼走进那个厅（我是粉丝戴着口罩我都认得出），我猜他是来看好友于文文的，我很想告诉他，真的很降智，快逃，别看！于文文都可以倒拔垂杨柳了！
一部没有任何惊喜的，剧情割裂的，故事走向完全在意料之中的，《2012》导演的作品。
男主的驱魔业务已经扩展到了太空吗？这次不用圣水，改电磁脉冲了。
特效还在，套路却还是老套路，不如《后天》也不如《2012》，与其说是灾难片倒不如说是科幻片。
在空荡荡的厅里和她紧紧靠在一起，拉着手，吐槽了全程。
